    The Town of Innisfil is situated on the western shores of Kempenfelt Bay, off Lake Simcoe, immediately south of the city of Barrie, Ontario. Canada. We are in Region 8, North, of District A-12 which is a part of Multiple District "A" Ontario, Canada.

    We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month (except July & August) at the Lions Hall on Innisfil Beach Rd. About 3 km east of Highway 11 at 7:15 P.M.

    The first Tuesday is a dinner meeting.
    The Executive meets at the Lions Hall
    on the 2nd Tuesday.
    3rd Tuesday is a Business(Meeting only)

    The Lions Club of Innisfil was Chartered in 1973. The Charter President was Lion Orrie Collins. Lion Orrie was a previous member of the Toronto-Runnemede Lions Club. He was very instrumental in the forming of our Club. He has moved closer to Barrie, ON., and has transferred to the Barrie Lions Club.

    The Charter Secretary, was Lion Harold E. Keiser who is still in the Club and was District Governor of District A-12 in 1978-79.

    Our Charter Treasurer was Dave Warwick who has since resigned and resides in Washago,ON.

    The Club Chartered with 40 Members. The first Charter Night was held in the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Barrie, Ontario in October, 1973. There were 96 Lions and Guests in attendance.

    The Innisfil Lioness Club was certified on July 1, 1991 and presently has 22 members. They do a great job in our community. The Lioness use the Lions Hall property each Canada Day July 1st to celebrate with the local citizens.


    We meet the needs of our local communities and the world.
    Our 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more.

    It's been a little chilly today. Would have been a good golf day though. Not too many Dad's out on the links. Poor guys have to stay home on Fathers Day. All male parents should have their kids visit them at the Golf and County Club for dinner. Their Fathers should be through playing by that time.
