My Grandmother Julia Kaiser (nee Armstrong) raised four children. "Jervis, Wesley, Ethel, & Edward." They lived in Galt Ontario at the time.    My Grandfather James died when my Father was 7 years old.(My Dad & Mother's picture "Lillian & Edward" is to the center.)    There wasn't much help back in those days for widows with children as far as Govern- ment assistance was concerned.    My Dad met my Mother in England during World War I. She was a Concert Pianist. After the war she came to Canada and they were married.     Shortly after I was born in 1922 she took sick with a heart problem which was a real disaster.    In 1932 my Grandmother passed away also, from an ailment that is not much of a problem these days.    My Father remarried when I was 3 years old. We lived in Fairbank District in Toronto at that time.

He Married Ada Peacock, and about 10 or 11 years later my Step Brother Gordon was born and a year after that my Step Sister Shirley came into the fold.    Gordon has three children. Lance, Elizabeth and Daniel. Elizabeth died at age 58.    Shirley married William Johnson of Toronto. they had two boys. Donald & Robert (Bobby).    Unfortunately my sister Shirley passed away about 1992 from Breast Cancer.    I have no idea where William, Bobby or Donald are at present. They lived in Brantford Ontario for years until Shirley passed on.
