He was very instrumental in the forming of our Club. He has moved closer to Barrie, ON., and has transferred to the Barrie Lions Club.

The Charter Secretary, was Lion Harold E. Keiser who is still in the Club and was District Governor of District A-12 in 1978-79.

Our Charter Treasurer was Dave Warwick who has since resigned and resides in Washago,ON.

The Club Chartered with 40 Members. The first Charter Night was held in the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Barrie, Ontario in October, 1973. There were 96 Lions and Guests in attendance.

The Innisfil Lioness Club was certified on July 1, 1991 and presently has 22 members. They do a great job in our community. The Lioness use the Lions Hall property each Canada Day July 1st to celebrate with the local citizens.
